I was attending services at The Church of Northshore while I was in the middle of a divorce that I did not want. On the day that would have been my 1 year anniversary, I was arrested and charged with domestic violence againist my wife at the time. Doug and the members of the Church of Northshore were supportive while I was dealing with a divorce and possible jail time. The Church of Northshore not only prayed with and for me, but also attended the court proceedings. The divorce was finalized and the charges were dismissed.  Because of Doug, Steve, Tammy, and the members of the Church of Northshore, I got through my ordeal, by them doing what the bible says ” Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness” Gal 6:1. I not only found forgiveness of sins, I was restored.  However, I was not restored to the person that was a sinful man, but restored to the man whom was ”called out of darkness into God’s marvelous light”. Now I am happily married and studying to become an ordained minister. Thank you Doug, Steve,Tammy, and The Church of Northshore for your love, prayers, support and  letting me experience the “Grace of God”.
